About Ian

Ian J.N. Harrison, Architect heads his award winning architectural firm in Newport Beach, California. Practicing for more than 30 years, Ian has received numerous architectural honors, including the coveted Gold Nugget award for the Home of the Year from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) and awards from the National Association of Home Builder (NAHB) for his many outstanding single-family and multi-family designs.

As a graduate of the School of Architecture at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Ian received an award from the Graham Foundation for the Advancement of the Fine Arts. He enjoyed a fifth year of architectural study in Florence, Italy. 

With Ians multi-discipline background and keen sense of fine architectural design, he has consistently delivered winning design solutions. Ians portfolio includes a broad range of projects: custom homes, conventional single family communities, senior housing, high density townhomes, institutional projects and mixed-use enterprises.  

Over the past decade, Ian has responded to niche markets in Orange County with an emphasis in Newport Beach, Balboa and Corona Del Mar designing luxury custom homes. Ians designs are known for creatively maximizing the use of interior space and the site’s potential, paramount with narrow coastal lots. Homeowners delight in their exceptional design and credit Ian with making their dream home a reflection of their individual desires. Every home is uniquely suited to the client, the neighborhood and the environment.
